Emprodesthor is an island southeast of the island of Desthor to the west coast of Corundy. Emprodesthor is an Ithatian name which means "across from Desthor" (empro 'across from + Desthor). Like Desthor, it is culturally tied to Ithatia. Emprodesthor is administered by a governor and body of superintendants appointed by the Duke of Desthor. Emprodesthor is the second largest island in the Duchy of Desthor.
The Arathracian Sanctuary of Erracrumel rests on the island of Emprodesthor. There is some evidence that the ruins of an ancient Drameggin city lie the waters immediately southeast of the island of Emprodesthor. The plurality of scholarship identify the probably site as ancient Kathyasundi.
