Deliops Island
Deliops is the largest of the Ithatian Islands, the third largest of the islands of the [[Pallathantic Sea], and the seat of the capital of the Republic of Ithatia. It rests in the Pallathantic Sea and has a mediterranean climate with warm summers and moderate winters. The island is bounded to the north by the Sea of Forgetfulness, to the east by the Deliopian Strait, to the south by the Corundian Sea, and to the west by the Galithyssa Sea. The volcano, Mount Agdæus rests towards its center with other mountains. The island's cities and towns include Elystrio, Segadont, Ioppissa, Egadiona, Eriander, Iliutha, Deliopian Rhionocrantis, Teliasper, Terameibos, Beriasko Ozai, and Thiskiota. The largest cities historically are Elystrio, Segadont, and Teliasper.
The economy of Deliops includes viticulture, wine-making, olive culture, fishing, timbering, lodging and hospitality, and titancraft manufacturing.
The ancient city of Elystrio, dedicated to the goddess Elystra rests on the north shore of the island. Deliops was famously a democracy in ancient times and also the seat of the Melissa, the sacred high priestess of the goddess Elystra. The Deliopians vied with the island of Maturn for hegemony over the Ithatian Islands.
