Orska Island rests in the northern reaches of the Pytharnian Sea. The island is separated from Midrardia to the northwest by the Svilmitch Strait and from Pytharnia by the Gilgard Strait. Deep inlets and bays are major features of the island as it was shaped by immense glaciers during the Age of Ice. The smaller island of Neymuria is geographically and politically part of it. The island is inhabited and governed by its indigenous elven population. The island has a temperate rainforest and the climate is identical to Maritime Northwestern Pytharnia.
