Heart-of-Asbardy
The Heart-of-Asbardy is the core province of the Dominion of Asbardy and within its boundaries are found the national capital city of Bryndyd, and several other significant centers of population, including the cities and towns of Shirdhain Lumeais, Jardonia, Splaig, Fiobaire, and Thehailve. Heart-of-Asbardy neighbors the provinces of Speiantia Mervis, Scloandy, Istragordia, Gaffardy, the Dominion of Flisbardy, and shares an international border with the Archpatriarchy of Ambrasia along the east northeast. The Heart-of-Asbardy is crossed by the Sinise River and rests towards the end of the ancient land of Durrhaunve, against the north shores of the Rhaunve River. The climate of Heart-of-Asbardy is a maritime temperate climate with rainfall throughout the year, virtually no snow ever, except very rarely on the tops of the hills to the north, and has direct access to the sea by way of the Sea of Asbardy. The region is known for abundant farmland, wheat, barley, hay, and numerous celebrated vineyards.
The Heart-of-Asbardy is administered by a governor appointed by the archduke and the Asbardian Diet. The independent cities of Asbardy are governed separately from the province of the Heart-of-Asbardy. In addition to agriculture and fishing, Heart of Asbardy is famous for cheesemakers, textile mills, and horse-breeding. It is an important heritage site for Dragon Riding and the practice of Tirchaglawchli.
Famous vineyards of Heart-of-Asbardy include Gaherlus, which makes Serulese Languid, the Thebraimil Vineyard, and the Cock Gialorgine Vineyard.
Several Incarnandist Monasteries are in Heart-of-Asbardy: Sanctuary of the Melibdites at Yglant Rock, Monastery of Saint Midrettine the Healer.
