The Ulcanovite Period extends over the time of the rule of the Dark Prince, beginning about ten years before his rule proper ca. 2110 AI and concluding with his slaying in 2278. During this period (2110 to 2278), great changes came about in Aurice, in Lucacia, and in other lands under the dominion of the Dark Prince.
