In the world of Asdar, a dragoman is a specialist who serves as interpreter and guide for ambassadors from the Pallathantic and Barathorn when they have dealings with the giants of Gorcorumb. A dragoman is typically human and speaks the Gorcorumbese Language and several human languages, usually including Medibgóëse. Dragomans were originally employed by Gorcorumbese officials from among their human subjects to deal with Shaphrizite Psychic Warriors, Kalikán allies, and the growing power of Aurice. A dragoman holds a diplomat's wand when performing official functions such as before rulers.
When humans rose up against their Gorcorumbese overlords, the dragoman was often one of the first to suffer their wrath.
When dealing with other giant tribes, the Gorcorumbese send their own representatives rather than humans.
