Vesprino
A vesprino is a titancraft device used to sense the presence of ambient magical energy known as pan. It is useful for the operation of titancraft and can be essential for titancraft engineers and operators to use other titancraft machinery. Modern titanships often have several vesprinos. A vesprino creates an energy field immediately around it which is visible to panseers. A vesprino not only senses the presence of magical energy, it can also read its particular signature. Additionally, a vesprino creates a minor vibration in the local magical energy making it detectable to other vesprinos. A vesprino can be as small as a typical human chair or as a large as a small room.
A vesprino can be used to detect the presence, volume, vibrational intensity, and directionality of the panstream.
There are several predecessors to the modern vesprino. However, the first vesprino as such outside of Gorcorumb was created in 2598 in Tauhad.
