Trooskan War
2614 AI to 2632 AI. Colonial Struggle between New Pytharnia (Asbardy) and Auricese Skaligdæ (Aurice). The war seemed to satisfy a vicarious need for direct confrontation between the two colonial powers that had vied for hegemony during the Great Sky War. The enmity increased when Aurice became a Republic in contrast to Asbardy's monarchy (Arch-Duchy). The war was long lasting (about 18 years) and titancraft warships played a frequent but not continuous role.
Aurice believed that it had a right to some and eventually all of New Pytharnia due to its origins in the New Kalikán Empire decades before. Despite Aurice's superior titancraft technology and numbers, she was unable to wrest the forests of New Pytharnia from Asbardian control. Asbardy developed a strong local dragonmount presence in New Pytharnia that remains to this day. These local dragonriders were not as well-dressed or armored as those in Asbardy, but they were very effective in the heavy forests of New Pytharnia.
Aurice was unable to conquer New Pytharnia and the two nations agreed to the Treaty of Yophénthë (2632) in 2632, before Thrionder's Revolution and Amísbë's Revolution. There is much conjecture about this seeming coincidence.
