Orska Island
Orska Island rests in the northern reaches of the Pytharnian Sea. The island is separated from Midrardia to the northwest by the Svilmitch Strait and from Pytharnia by the Gilgard Strait. Deep inlets and bays are major features of the island as it was shaped by immense glaciers during the Age of Ice. The bay north of Orska which is the northernmost reach of the Pytharnian Sea is called the Sea of Orska. The smaller island of Neymuria is geographically and politically part of it. The island is inhabited and governed by its indigenous elven population. The island has a temperate rainforest and the climate is identical to Maritime Northwestern Pytharnia.
The chief city of the island is Guhaia. The ruins of the Arathracian Sanctuary of Pimbrasa rest to the north of Guhaia. The sanctuary was built during the time of the Yophenthean Empire.
