Danonan Deserts
The Danonan Deserts comprise most of the continent of Danona. Weather scholars explain that Danona, like Weshif rests at a distance from the equator where it is most dry. Additionally, the Massady Geth Mountains to the north and the to the west by the Dinzahmun Mountains and the Ooshib Raaykh Mountains. Numerous regions comprise the Danonan Deserts, including the Zanqir Wastes, the Ummahdi-Lah Wastes, and the Dragonwood Flats. These deserts are very dry and receive very little water annually with some portions receiving no water for several years at a time. Collectively, these deserts are also called the Great Jawachi Wastes. Most of these deserts are traversed by the Jykki Orcs of the Empire of Jhaadi Zhumzhur. Travel into the interior by outsiders is strongly discouraged without the accompaniment of a Jykki guide. Outside of the Danonan Deserts is the Green Coast of Danona to the west, the Wild Coast of Danona to the north, Ambrinqua and Thyria to the northwest.
There are numerous sand seas in the Jawachi Wastes including, the Dzaakurzhi Sand Sea, the Sea of Dead Pilgrims, the Sand Sea of Dragons, the Sea of Yohzh, the Sea of Risen Dreams, the Sand Sea of the Prophets, the Sea of Fallen Warriors, and the Sea of Judgments.
