Pockets of old growth trees, petering out to vast stretches of pine make up the Vadsinkoinen Forests in the northwestern interior of the great continent of Asdauria. These woodlands are far enough north to receive moderate to heavy snows in the winter, but too far south to be Taiga. The edges of the woods brim with visiting uhlaks, centaurs, and the occasional human tribesmen. The thick depths of the Vadsinkoinen are home to minotaurs, Graiki Trolls, ogres, beastmen, and wild elves. In name, the greater portion of the Vadsinkoinen is subject to the Great Khan of the Brasen Horde, but in truth, tribes and families of the Vadsinkoinen rarely make obeisance to the that powerful overlord of the steppes. The great lake known as the Gaspot Sea is almost completely surrounded by the trees of the northern edge of the Vadsinkoinen and many immense rivers have their tributaries pass through its woods. The Vadsinkoinen is a place of wildness and few humans. The source of the great Tayhoyre River lies just north of the forest.
Ozkhund
The city of Ozkhund is the residence of the representative of the Great Khan and he receives tribute from the tribes of the Vadsinkoinen, such as it is, to send to his master in Aiak.
To the south of the tractless woods of the Vadsinkoinen rove the great tribes of the uhlaks and the centaurs of the Eloarian steppes.
